cost of pictures

I've noted that when getting on board a ship that they take your picture. Where else will that take pictures and what is the cost of the pictures. We will be sailing on the Conquest on Oct 15th. Thanks a bunch.

Actually where DONT They Take your Picture?

there will be plenty of picture oppertunities for you onboard weather you want them or not.

you will probably even be on a video. atleast thats what carnival does on the 5 cruises Ive been on.

The prices arent really too Bad for the work they do. they have specials like 8x10 for $20.00 I usually atleast Buy One picture.
I allways say it's for mom...
I cruise alone.

Carnival is not the only cruise line where they are always taking your picture. If you find it becomes too annoying just politely tell them "No, I don't want my picture taken."

Just remember you DON'T have to stop at their posters/signs/etc - just smile and walk around. The first cruise or two it's fun - after that it's a pain in the behind. What's especially annoying is waiting in line to disembarque only to find out it was the photographers that were holding things up!

Mr October is correct. They take your picture many times though-out the cruise. Each port, the formal dinners, contests etc etc...

Each picture runs like $7 for a 5x7. You can go during the cruise to the photo shop area and look for your pictures. If you like them you can purchase them if not, there is a bin to dispose of them. The cruise video is actually a pretty good deal. I think it was $25 or $29 for a DVD of your cruise. You are more than likely on it somewhere. We bought one on our last cruise because the video guy went with us on our Sting Ray encounter so we were on many shots. Also, he was able to take underwater footage that I could never have even dreamed of. So it was worth it for us. They start showing the footage on the TV in the cabin and at the photo desk, so you can look to see if you are on it before you by.

While the wife likes to buy the pictures, I just caution you to beware.. they add up fast.

I sailed the Conquest 2 weeks ago and the pictures were $10 for a 5x7 but the price goes down towards the end of the week.

They take pictures EVERYWHERE. At dinner, when you get off the ship in port, on deck 5 I think they have all sorts of backgrounds set up for pictures.

My experience on pictures...they advertise pictures of all sizes, but only had for sale the 8 x 10....$19.99. Figure that one. Anyway, buy as many as you can afford, but I would ask for a smaller size if you don't want the 8 x 10. Have a great trip no matter what you do on photos. Hint: have someone take your picture with your camera at several different locations...pool, dinner, by your room door, etc. They will be good memories!
