Smoking.

Hey Jim and IslandCruz,
I have never seen any restrictions on cabins (smoking vs. non) on board any ship I've sailed the way you see in US hotels. BTW IslandCruz, I never had a problem lighting up on my veranda. What's your problem?

I've never seen non-smoking rooms as well. I do remember they started a non-smoking cruise, I don't think it is still in existence, however.

Good that this was brought up... being a Canadian in British Columbia I just don't even think about the smoking issue anymore. I am not sure if there are any places left for smokers here!

I certainly can be wrong.. its happened before So maybe there are no resrictions on smoking in the cabins, but the point remains is that I have never been able to tell that there were smokers in the cabin before me. So, I don't think Tara has anything to worry about..
