At what moment do you know your cruise has begun? Is it when you leave home, arrive at the
terminal, head to the Lido deck for a drink and some lunch...

Mine is the first sight of the funnel...I still get just as excited as I did on my first cruise!

Give up your thoughts,

I think it is when I see the funnel too.

It doesn't matter which port I'm leaving from, when I see the funnel I know I'm almost there. The magic words are Welcome Aboard!

For me the excitement begins as soon as i make the reservations, because i get to day dreaming about the moment i arrive. But i get extra excited when i arrive at the port and sea the ship then i know im actually about to go on a cruise.

I'm with CruiseMstr; the second I hit "submit" and that deposit is on its way through cyberspace, I'm on my cruise.

I agree with CruiseMstr also, I do get very excited when I know I have a Cabin number and I know it is mine. I will admit I hate and I do mean hate to Fly to get to the ship, so for example going to the White Cliffs of Dover to get on the ship and the Bus Driver tells us to watch to our left for the White Cliffs and look for our Ship, I about cry when I see the ship now I know I am almost on board !!

I get antsy as soon as I make the booking (which I did yesterday for cruise #8). But I get really worked up as soon as I see the ship. Funnel, prow, stern whatever part I can manage to steal a glimpse of. It's an added bonus to see the ship from the hotel room.
