We all know the Holiday is bound for Spain. It is just a matter of when and of course, Carnival will replace the Holiday when she is gone. (and it will have to be "a bigger ship" because the Celebration has been sold too).
We are sailing on her in December one last time to say goodbye. I was hoping that they would give Mobile a larger ship than the Fantasy only because they had the Conquest in New Orleans all those years and it did well. I think Mobile would be a great spot for a larger ship.
I did not know about the limited turning basin and apparently that is not a problem that can be easily fixed.
I just think Mobile deserves some additional attention for the wonderful job they have been doing for Carnival.
