Got our room assignment! We will be located in the upper front part of the ship. Will we feel more motion from sailing? Are rooms located towards the rear of the ship better? We sailed on the Spirit before and our cabin was located near the back of the ship> no noticeable motion/feel.
Sailing on 5/14..seas should be pretty calm, but with the kind of weather that has happened over the past year, who knows??? I hope the only thing that will be swaying will be me on the dance floor....
hi..have a blast! my suggestion is to get the "ear patches" no matter where you are. Just got off the carnival Liberty last week and when we left Ft.Lauderdale we hit a "gale" with winds of 86 miles an hour..1/2 the ship was sick including me..I was GREEN for 6 hours..it was our first cruise and I thought it was the last, but the rest of the week was smooth and we are hooked for life! what a blast!
I don't know about front or back, but we were told that the lower you are on the ship, the less you feel waves and movement. We were on deck 7 and were fine.
Hi - I've been on the Victory out of Miami before and we had a corner suite in the very far back of the ship...never felt one single wave movement - only the hum of the ship that put us to sleep each night. It was great and I'd recommend Victory any day!
