I was just wanting to know people's opinions on the your time dining. I know it is a trial offer on some ships, but what do you think of it compared to the traditional times(early and late seating)?

The Open Seating trial part is over. They are implementing it in phases on the ships. I haven't tried it yet.
I love the traditional seating myself. I enjoy meeting people from different places. I still keep in touch with people we met on our first cruise years ago. others may enjoy the anytime seating it is just not for me.

I agree, I like the traditional too. I may try this though when I'm not with a group and the itinerary has late port days. It could be nice in those situations where you don't want to be on a set schedule.
We have always done traditional until a Princess cruise and we were put on a wait list for late seating. So we opted to try the Anytime Dining, we loved it. Advantages are: you can eat when you want, you get to meet more people if you share a table (you can request to not share on Princess). Disadvantages are: you don't get to know your wait staff or your tablemates as well. We will do either, but if they offer anytime, we select that now.
I agree the traditional seating is more personal. After the first night on my cruise my waiter remembered that I didn't like coffee so at the end of every dinner he always brought me hot chocolate! Thanks IslandCruz, my contdown looks much better.
