FIRST TIME ON INSPIRATION ANY HINTS ???

I have booked the 7 day from Tampa on April 13th.
I have never been on a Carnival ship or the Insiration. Can any one tell me the inside scoop on this ship. the ins and outs and the secerts that a first timer should know????

I have not been on that ship, but have been on other cruise lines and am going on Inspiration end of feb. There are a few common things.. look for fun, try NEW things.. if you drink a lot of soft drinks,, get that beverage card. If you need one, take a hair dryer with you as the rooms do not have one. Be early for shows to get better seat. Book any shore excursions early to make sure you can get the tour at the time you want. I like the food on the ships and book things so I can be back to the ship to eat ( plus I can then spend the saved money on tourist stuff or slots ).

The Inspiration is a great ship. We went on the Inspiration when it sailed out of New Orleans last year. Our waiter was George, and hew was awesome.

A couple of things. In the dining room, you can order as many entrees as you want. It has a menu where you can choose between steak, lobster, and lamb... well, you can have all three if you want them.... And all three desserts, if you want them.

The sushi bar is free... Dont wait till the last day to try it like we did. Its wonderful.

Have your picture made on board. Its a terrific deal. Stay out of the casino. Lots of people arrive at the port in a $16,000 car and go home in a $50,000 bus... not a mistake you want to make.

Buy a soda card if you drink cokes... its the cheapest way to do it. But it first thing. At a $1.50 each, they add up.
