Am I correct in understanding that the pool area aft on Verandah Deck is designated adults only? Is bar service available there?

If so, is it available on the Victory yet?

At one time Carnival had an adult only deck on most if not all their ship, also known as the topless deck. They have changed this deck on most if not all ships and were at one time discontinuing have a topless deck. On some ships this deck was to be converted to a mini-golf course. Then suddenly I quit getting updates on the changes. So there may have been enough concerns voiced/written to them to re-think the changes. I don't know the status and whether the change has happened/is happening. Perhaps someone who has recently been aboard some of the CCL ships can shed more light. I hope so as I don't know what has/is happening with the topless/adult or mini-golf deck.

Cheers, Neil

I was recently on board the Fascination, and there was an adults-only deck - but nobody was topless up there. At least not that I saw. Not that I was looking or anything.

on the rear pool deck , there a person that gets your drinks for you , but its not all adults there but more private then the big slide area pool. just get out there early.the nude deck is for women only ''really''. guys need to stay out!no woman wants a guy drooling all over the deck.they go up there to be alone to sun bathe not get gauked at my old men

Both cruises we have been on had the "topless" deck, but no one was ever topless there that we saw. On the Celebration last March, this was the only place to go to get somewhere to lay in the sun.. There were so many rude teenagers on that cruise that it was impossible to enjoy time on the Lido

There have been many posts on this subject. The aft pool on the Fantasy is designated as "adults only" and it is even listed that way in the Carnival Capers. That is where the adults only part ends. Parents bring all of their rugrats to that pool and glare at anyone who dares to voice any opposition. (you are supposed to find their offspring as cute and adorable as they do) By the second day of the cruise, the "adult" pool is completely filled with kids dropped off by parents who don't want to walk all the way to the main deck pools. If you want an adults only pool experience on the Fantasy, I suggest you get a room with a tub, a bucket of beer, and play reggae music on a cd player.
P.S. Don't tell anyone of the bathtub "pool" in your room or some parent will be banging on your stateroom door wanting to drop their kids off with you so they can head to the bars or casino.

Yes, the aft Verandah pool is designated as adults only. I can't say how strictly this is enforced on the Fantasy class ships as there are only the two pools. On the Legend week before last there were not any kids in the Adult Only pool all week. But then, the Spirit class ships have three pools all on the lido deck so there would have been no excuse for them to be there.

Some confusion may be arising from the Evolutions of Fun refurbishment project for the Fantasy class ships. When those enhancements are complete, my understanding is that it will be strictly enforced. However the Fantasy is not scheduled for drydock until September 2008.
