The Carnival Victory hit a pier in N.Y. this morning at about 7:00 A.M. There was damage to both the ship and the pier.It was un clear how badly either was damaged at the time of the report.Maybe more news will follow later today.

It looks like the Victory suffered some minor superficial damage to the tip of the bow.

Just a few mallets, a few gallons of bondo, and some glossy white paint, and she'll look as good as new !

Fotunately, this looks like very minor damage to the ship, indeed.
