Ok, next question. Hubby went on a royal c. last time and said that you get your regular meals included in the price of the cruise but if you bought food from the little cafes, pizzerias etc you paid each time.
How does it work on Carnival Fantasy?

Does the cruise price include ALL food?
Does the cruise price include ANY beverages? I know alcohol is not covered and I am assuming pop is not icluded because of the pop pass thing you can purchase.... Do you pay for let say pop or tea at dinner>?

I know the minibar in the room is extra...but was i right that you can have food service for no cost? Is that all the time? Sometimes? never?

Sorry ..they just don't make it clear at all on the website.... I don't know if they don't mention it becasue it is all free or if they overlook it on purpose.

Here is how it works on most cruise lines. The main restaurants, buffet, poolside grills, pizzerias and midnight buffets/snacks are all included in your fare. Most ships have "alternative" restaurants that may feature a themed menu that will cost you more if you wish to dine there, but the only reason you would do so is if you wanted the experience. Early morning, breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, dinner and late night snacks are all included.

As for drinks, you will find coffee and tea available at all times. Juice, punch and the like are available in the mornings and sometime all day on some ships for free. Soft drinks (coke, etc. will cost you, but most cruise lines offer a discount for prepaying for a "coke card". Wine, beer and cocktails will all cost you withe the exception of the Captain's welcome aboard party and any other parties you are entitled to attend.

Unless you drink beer, wine or cocktails, it is quite possible to go on a cruise and not spend another penny and still gain ten pounds...VBG.

As this is your first cruise, you will be amazed at how much fun you will have.

Unfortunately bottled water is not free and I do not believe it is included as part of the soda card - just soft drinks.

We usually bring a small soft-side cooler on the ship with bottled water and also the fruit2O waters. We have never been stopped. Can't stand the thought of paying between $2.00 up to $3.50 for a bottle of water. Most of the times we drink the tap water at dinner and at the buffets.
