Just curious - the only pictures I've seen of the midnight buffet show tons of desserts - are there usually non-sweets too? Like veggies and dip or shrimp? - I don't have a big sweet tooth...

Also - Does Carnival still have 24 hr room service like they used to?

Oh yes! The midnight buffet is just an amazing feast for the eyes and the appetite!

The desert section is probably less than l/3 of what is on visual display. Take your camera and camcorder to listen to the Ohhs and Ahhs! Plan to get there by 11:00 for vewing. Eating starts promptly at 12 and there isn't a single scrap left!

If you take the galley tour you will actually see much of the sculpture and food artword before the buffet. We witnessed the main ice-sculpture being made; it was fascinating and beautiful.

Don't forget to bring your elbow pads because the fatties take this midnight eating seriously. It's like pigs to the feed trough. SOOOO EEEEEE!!!

I'll be aware of the feeding times! Ha ha...yes, I've noticed that quite a lot of, shall we say, "robust" people like to take cruises for the food - I want to enjoy it - but I don't want to gain 7 pounds in one week! I can't wait for the food - but I also am looking forward to checking out the jogging track and exercise room. Thanks for the heads up!
