Hello all.....First of all let me say how great this site is. What a fountain of information from so many helpful people!

We are cruising for the first time in January and can't wait. I am wondering if anyone else has had cabin 8281 on the Victory? We have changed three times from various other rooms, and have settled on this cabin....opinions?
Also, we are arriving in Ft. Lauderdale airport the day before our cruise. Our port and hotel are in Miami, so any suggestions on transportation from Ft. to Miami? Others have said cab is about $60.00. Airfare was alot cheaper into Ft. than Miami....also coming from Canada, we wanted early morning flights so we can enjoy Florida. Any helpful information on cruising/travel are warmly accepted!

Welcome to cruise chat shellaroo. I have done the FFL but sail out of Miami multiple times. We have used the hotel service to make the trip and it has worked fine. Coming back taxies from Miami to FLL can be troublesome, I suggest buying the "Excursion" to the Aiport from the cruise line to get back. Just buy it the last day just like you do any excursion on board
