Main seating is hard to come by, so you may be stuck with late. Check to see if they have the Anytime Dining option on board. You can always go to the buffet.

I am kicking myself because I had early and changed it.....yes, there is anytime dining..most likely if the kids are having fun, they will eat at the buffet or pizza and get back to their fun...maybe we should get a table for two...lol....

I think you will find that the kids will go to the activities if there is something they really want to do. They can eat ANYTIME on a cruise, so they won't go hungry. The good thing is that the Camp Carnival activities are listed in the Caper Paper everyday so you will be able to discuss them and determine if you need to worry about the kiddos for dinner. You will probably end up having them with you on at least half the nights.

Its a good excuse to try the Supper Club if your ship has one.

Hi Jakeplays,

One thing you should know is that Camp Carnival also has a kid dinner each night except for the first night. They meet up on Lido in the buffet at 6pm and then take them on to the club activities after they eat. We had a late setting on our last cruise and our 8 year old daughter did this every night. Gave us time to eat alone which was nice.

One other thing to know is that on the first night the meeting for Camp Carnival and the Welcome Aboard Party for Camp Carnival will take place during late dinning setting. We went to the buffet the first night and took our daughter to the Camp Carnival Events. She meet a lot of friends there.
