First of all Happy new year lisa, and to your family, I was so elated to go on and get our documents on line at Carnival, and found we already had our cabin assignment on a guarentee csbin, it is not usually given till you sign in at the ship. I was just so thrilled to see the cabin # we are very lucky I guess and I booked far enough in advance so maybe that was a factor, or maybe because I have done almost 10 cruises with carnival, who knows all I know is it is going to be a great trip, for the 4 of us ladies it will be my last one, for this year as I am retiring next month, and will be on a tight budget, so will not be able to cruise as often but will try to manage one 1 every 18 months or so, documents on line are pretty neat but I do miss the BLUE Packet and leafing through the papers, but I printed it all out and it is about the same but the Blue Packet makes it so awesome and you have it in your hands to look over, guess that sounds silly huh!!! well we will be counting down the days I have us booked at the Riverside Hilton in New Orleans for 3 nights before we sail got a really good price though Harrahs (Comp) so every one if you visit casinos and have your casino cards, try your casinos for pre- cruise hotel stays, we saved over 600.00 staying there on a comp hotel rate. NICE!! ok kids got to run have 3 more days till my 3 week vacation starts lots to do around here begore I leave and retire, so Happy Cru
