I'm a past guest of CCL and recieve military discounts, which are greatly appreciated by me. Being a past guest and prior military, I get a pretty good deal and I'm not complaining, just posting a comment. This cruise (AUG 18-23) out of tampa is the first one that we are taking the whole family,7 in all. We have 3 cabins reserved. I just found out today that 1 cabin is mid ship R deck- 1 cabin is all the way to the rear of R deck-opposite side and 1 cabin is 3 floors up,mid ship. Talking about seperation!!! My kids are all late teens, so I'm reaaly not too concerned about keeping an eye on them,I just think it's a little strange that carnival would seperate us like this-I'm going to try the walkie-talkie thing on this cruise to keep in contact with everyone. See how that works.

We have been on several carnival cruises, and have used the walkie talkies. they do work on the boat, but remeber that a lot of other people also have them and you will get other conversations other than your own.
In regards to the cabins, when we have booked multiple cabins, we found out immediatley the cabin numbers when we booked the cruise. The only time this does not happen is when you
book a guaranteed room. Then you will find out later your room numbers. Have a great time

Yes, it sounds like you booked a guaranteed catagory and not specific cabins.

On behalf of all the other cruisers, I respectfully request that you use the radios disceretely.

Thank you.
