I bet! I know you both are really excited. I still think the $100 a day per person rule works out well, with money left over.

Hope you get a good report on the weather, at least no hurricanes brewing. I want to say something else to yall, don't be shy about asking the passengers or crew about taking your pictures. They are always happy to. Is a special occasion and cruise, they are always great pics.

I budget $1250 for the week of spending total. We will usually buy alot of trinkets and i don't book excoursions in advance so that all comes out of that money. Of that I put 700 on my sail and sign and use the rest in port. I would also consider how many ports you are going to visit. I generally spend more money on the ship then what i do in port so if there are more days at sea then i will take a little more and i always have more then enough. I also make sure that i have 2000 avaiable on my visa just in case there is a really good deal on a more expensive item while in port. I will budget very well in the first half of the week and blow the rest in the last few days. Generally all of the items in the ports are identical in other places on your cruise so i don't buy anthing in the first few days and giver on the last at least then i know that it is a good deal if i am buying it or have basis to go off of when bargoning. I also find that on average the items are cheaper in the last port maybey because people have not budgeted properly during the week and the total money moving through the port that day is less then the port on the first.

we went on a seven day cruise in oct paid shore excursions in advance, brought 300.00 cash and came home with 200.00, used our credit card for sail and sign total came to 283.00 that was pictures, trinkets, and internet use.

have fun
