Has anyone sailed the Holiday lately? I am going on my second cruise in May and have seen some not so good reviews??

The Holiday has been having some problems over the past three weeks, running on reduced power and this has caused some port cancellations or modifications to the times in port. A lot of unhappy cruisers. My understanding is they fixed the problem and the ship is back to full speed again.

The Holiday is headed for the shipyard for a scheduled maintenance and upgrade period at the end of this month, so things should be fine for your cruise in May.

Hi tra, welcome to Cruise-Chat. The Holiday is an old ship and doesn't have some of the bells and whistles the new ships have, but she's a great old ship. The crew is fantastic, the food is good, and she's a lot of fun to sail. Since she'll be out of dry dock, she should even be better than she was when we sailed her. She was showing her age, but we still had a ball. Happy sailing!
