Miracle Docking in Cozumel?

I read somewhere that the Miracle docked (instead of tender) at Cozumel on 8/9/06 and would be doing so everyother week. Is this true??!! I am so excited!

If the Miracle docked one time in August, it was a fluke. The International Pier was the only one open until last week. Punta Langosta just re opened last week. Playa Maya (Carnival's pier with all the shops) is still closed.

Depending on the number of ships in port that day, when they arrive etc etc etc....you may get to dock, but I would not bet on it. At least the chances are better now that PL has reopened!!

We leave October 8th on the Miracle and will be in Cozumel on the 11th. There are 4 ships scheduled to be there that day.

There is a website that shows all the ships that dock for the month in Cozumel and surrounding ports.

Sadly, I ran across it by accident and did not save it. I was looking to see how many ships would be in that day and once I got that info...I "moved on".

However, there is a website that puts up the information for Cozumel one week at a time.

I hope this URL works, I am not very computer savvy...sometimes it does...sometimes it does not.

Unfortunately, Jac only puts up one week at a time and the other website listed them from month to month.

Hope this helps. BTW, "Al Pairo" means they will tender in. It is looking good for the Miracle...at least for this week. We will see if that continues to next week when we are aboard.

Just a heads up...to simplify...just put in Cozumel under PORT and then the date your ship will be there.

thanks for the excellent resource, now i can tell how crowded our stops will be. It will be good for planning those shore excursions at crowded ports well in advance.

Just got back from Cozumel. That pier looks bad! That Hurricane took it out big time. I was watching the divers go down under the twisted concrete pilings. Not a job I'd want. They have the tender service down pat though it was fast and easy.
