does any one know if there is a price advertised on the internet, even if it is a typo on the cruise lines part do they by any law have to honor it? I found a 12 day cruise on sept. 16 06 advertised for 254.00. I booked it they took my money then called me the next day & said now way it was a typo. what can I do know?
I have seen stories about this kind of thing on the news with airlines and they honored the price. Not sure about the law though, if I had to guess I would say they don't.
I tried to purchase an item from Amazon once that was clearly marked incorrectly. A day or so later I received an e-mail stating their internet policy protecting them from incorrect pricing on the internet. My best guess was all interntet sellers protect themselves, including the cruise lines.
I'm really sure cruise lines are protected. However, before you allow them to make any changes in the record.... I would really push them to honor the rate by going up the corporate ladder in Carnival. If you reach the right person, I'm sure they will do something to make you happy. Just keep pushing...........
