NO Luggage Express on Carnival Victory

We sailed on Carnival Victory, July 4th to the 11th. As of now, there is no Luggage Express available on the Carnival Victory, even though Luggage Express website lists the ship, Carnival show it on the list, the debarkation publishation mentions it on the info from Carnvial and the debarkation video mentions it, there is NONE!

Whe we had heard nothing about it by Thursday, we went to Guest Service to find out about it and were told they had stopped that program over a month ago.

We had planned our return flights for late afternoon, so we could see some of Old San Juan. Now we had Luggage to take care of.

Never fear, there is a luggage storage area located at Pier 2. Victory ties up at Pier 4, so just wheel your luggage down a couple piers and you are good to go! $5.00 for a large suitcase and $3.00 for a carry-on! Open 9 am to 5 pm

The Barrachina Restaurant on Forteleza St in Old San Juan will hold luggage for free from 9:00AM-5:00PM for those who have late flights.

Cruise Fanatic - I had that information at home, but did not have it with me and could not remember what the name of the place was! We had planned to us Luggage Expesss! Thus, with Plan B, we decided we'd get off the ship and ask a few people. As we disembarked there was a man with a sign directing us to Pier 2 for luggage storage, so we went with it.

Carnival should have notified people booked on this cruise, or at least posted on their website, that there was no Luggage Express available.

Even as I type both the Carnival website and Luggage Express website state it is available!

In the future I'll take all my information with me and be ready with Plan B

I wonder why, too. We had it on the Valor. It was a great service, well worth the extra $$$

I wonder why that don't do it anymore also. We used it last year on the Victory, and it was great.
