Zip Line Excursions

Ok guys, this will be my 4th cruise and so I have done the "traditional" excursions and they were great. But this time I want to do the cool new one of "zip lining"... it looks sooo fun!!! But I really don't know anything about it (strenuous, safety, etc.) We're looking to probably do that in Belize...
Can anyone shed any light on this desire?

Also, my mom (age 56) will be w/me, (she had back surgery about 7 years ago). She says she wants to do it with me and thinks she can, any advise?

I have not done it myself but some of the people at my dinner table did. They said it was a blast and well worth it! One of the older people in the group that was with them did break her leg when she hit one of the platforms though.

Depending on what type of back surgery your mom had, may not be a good idea. I would ask a doctor first.

BTW, love the photos!! Very Impressive. Pictures are SO my passion. I am just an ameteur (wannabe). lol I just bought a Nikon D50 SLR... can't wait to use it on the cruise... I would only hope to get some pics as good as some of yours...

Hey, I am hardly a pro at taking pictures. There were a bunch of rejects to get ro the ones on the website

The D50 is a nice camera, I'm sure you will love it. Just get a big memory card.
