what is an upper???

We went ahead and booked our first cruise, very excited!!! BUT, I just realized the cabin we selected is an OV 6D with one upper. Does this mean it does not have the twins that make into a queen and just a bed that pulls down from the wall? Also, our stateroom does not have any inside rooms across from it, can someone tell me what might be in that space? It looks like there is an elevator at one end (we are on the elation)... thx in advance.

You have a triple cabin, which means you have two twin beds that make into a queen and a pulldown third berth. Your cabin can accommodate three people.

As for not having inside cabins across the passageway, don't worry about it. Looking at your cabin location I'd say the exhaust piping from the engines going up to the stack is in that space, along with other equipment and perhaps some storage space used by the cabin attendants.
