Any info on this ship?

Any suggestions which date to go? I have been hearing mixed reviews. I don't want to worry about hurricane weather, but I don't want a cool (cold) cruise either. We went to the western carrib in Feb 2005 and the weather was perfect, didn't really need a jacket or anything in the evening.

It will probably be perfect regardless of when you go! Pick the date that works for you and go for it. Nov and december are both nice and the "season" is usually over by November.

I've toured the Valor before, and will sail her on 10/1. She is a very nice ship and big. I am very active on this board and will post all highs and lows after I return.

As for your question, I would say go whenever. Since I live in South Florida, I can say the weather is perfect that time of year. Nov. 1 marks the end of "the season" and we usually celebrate outside with bbq's at the beach. For us locals, if we get a cold-front in Dec, our lows would be in the 60's and we break out the parkas. LOL!!

With the weather patterns over the past 2-years, it's really hard to predict what will be. I can say after living here my entire life, the weather is why people from the North come here starting Nov - April. In Nov and Dec, our highs are usually mid to upper 70's and lows in the 60's. Sometimes 50's.
