My cruise wasn't until May 2006 on the Elation, yet our cruise still got canceled. I guess Elation will still be sailing one of the other ships itineraries then.
I was more upset by the fact that had I not logged onto their website and seen my cruise canceled I never would have known, seeing as nobody from Carnival had contacted me letting me know.
I have re-booked on the Miracle and even though the cruise itself costs us more money, in the long run it'll wash out as tickets from the Northeast to Florida are cheaper then tickets to Texas. We'll probably even make out as now we have the $100 on-board credit per person to our use, shorter flights and a newer ship. I'm just greatful I hadn't bought the airline tickets yet or else I would have been even more upset.

I'm sorry to hear that your cruise has been cancelled.

This is somewhat strange as the charter for the three other ships ends in late February / early March, respectively. Maybe they have added a dry-docking for "Elation"?!?
Best regards,

A month ago when I was in Port Canaveral for 10 days there were days when there was only 1 ship in Port and there is spots for 3 ships I believe and Maybe 4. They can easily take on a few more ships and itenaries.
