I was checking out the inside & outside cabins on Carnival ships. Some of the pictures they post of the cabins do not show a sofa. The inside & outside cabin pictures for the Holiday only shows a wooden chair.
Which Carnival ships or class of ships have the nicest inside & outside cabins?

If my memory serves me, I had inside Cabins on the Spirit and the Triumph and both had a couch.
I can't speak of the inside cabins (as I had only a peek across the hall), but we've had standard outside cabins on sister ships Carnival Destiny and Carnival Victory. Each had a sofa, and the cabins were very spacious. We were on Deck 2 midship both times.
We have been on the Celebration and we are going on the Inspiration to Cozumel in December and we booked a room on the Empress Deck with upper and lower beds. We do not expect a couch. On the Celebration, we were only in the cabin for sleepy time and for, well, "other fun" times. So, book an inside cabin and don't go near it.
We have been on the Pride and the Spirit, the inside and outside had sofas. We had a OV on the Pride and a balcony, and a Balcony on the Spirit. Our friends had an inside on both. Their room was the same size as our just no balcony.
There is a public web site, www.cruisestateroom.com that you can compare deck plans of most ships. You can see the diagram layout and size of the stateroom and even take a virtual tour. It is a good place to get an idea of each ship.
