WE ARE FLYING IN ON FRIDAY.WANT TO STAY AS CLOSE TO THE PORT AS POSSIBLE IN A DECENT HOTEL.ANY HELP?ALSO WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS CRUISED ON THE TRIUMPH? I HAVE CRUISED ON THE PRIDE BEFORE OUT OF LONG BEACH TO MEXICAN RIVERIA IF ANYONE HAS ANY QUESTION I MIGHT BE ABLE TO HELP

Hello...
My husband and I took our honeymoon cruise on the Triump in 2002. We had an absolute blast and it is a really nice ship. The decor may be a bit gaudy but who really cares? The food and service was great and it was relatively easy to get around once a day or two passed.
I don't remember any real specifics at this point but we did enjoy ourselves.

The Holiday Inn Port of Miami is right across the street from BaySide Market. Lots of restaurants and shopping. Hard Rock cafe, Hooters, Bubba Gumps, Fat Tuesdays all are in BaySide. If you get a room with the BaySide view you will be able to see the port and the ships lined up the morning of the cruise. It is a short taxi ride about $8 to the pier. I went on the Truimph December 2003. It was a great cruise. I did the Eastern Caribbean.

We sailed on the Triumph from Charleston October 2005. We had the privilidge of sailing her the last time before she was drydocked. She should be in great shape when you board her. You could tell she was in need of some spruceing up...would love for anyone who has sailed her since then to post how she is looking today. We were in a cataogry 6E on the spa deck and it was a great location. We had the floor to ceiling windows and the cabin seemed huge. Hope you have a great time on your cruise.

we are cruising on the triumph sept. 9 also. this will be my 5 cruise, the first on the triumph, victory last december. the victory is a sister ship of the triumph and the victory was a great ship.

Hello Rusty/Matt wow five cruises well actually four.This is our second cruise.I think the weather will be very hot.I think the triumph was just refurbished not too long ago.We are arriving on friday and will spend the nite in miami maybe the holiday Inn.Have you ever stayed in a hotel in miami?Our last cruise was the mexican riveria on the pride.

I will be going on the pride the end of November and it will be our first cruise. Any tips or suggestions I would really appreciate any info you can give to me.

hi diego i left the east coast of florida in 1991. i live on the west coast and drive over in 2 hrs. i do not know what hotels are good anymore, too many changes on the east coast. the weather should be in the mid 80's. thats not too bad.
