Thanks for any info.

I'd really like a review on the Holiday also. I'm scheduled for July and starting to get nervous about some of the reviews that I've read.

Thanks Tom

But as I already stated I have read most of these. Most people who are in this chat room have access to them. I was wandering why there has been such an absence of new reviews. I have searched the web and have found this to be the BEST! site for up to date information. A lot of that is due to you Tom. I can usually tell when people are expecting too much from a cruise and can weed the bad reviews out. I have only been on 4 cruises and have been on a variety of ships but I have always enjoyed myself because that is what I set out to do. If you are looking for a reason to hate your vacation you can certainly find one.

So please if anyone has new "Holiday" reviews submit them ASAP.

Thanks Tom

Thanks for the kind words. It seems that when a ship gets older, the reviews start lagging behind. I noticed it today on the Celebrity web when reviews for the Horizon and Zenith seem to be lagging. I suspect it is because folks want to post about the newer ships, but not the older.

I will see what I can do about it.

Still no new reviews on the Holiday. It has been over 3 months since last review. If anyone has been on ship since JAN 17 please leave info.

Thanks

We were on the Holiday on Feb. 14th 2005. She looked better than she did when we were on her in 2003. Our cabin had been updated with new bathroom fixtures and new carpeting. All hallways and public rooms had a new makeover too. The pools are still small, but plenty of lounge chairs to relax on. Have a great time, we did.

Cruiser1962, thanks for the update. Since there seems to be a lull in new reviews of this ship on CruiseReviews - why don't you submit one of your most recent experience - I am sure it will be helpful to many readers out there.

BTW - Todd, why don't you plan to do the same when you return from your Dec. trip. I know it is a ways off, but it is always nice to get a fresh perspective on an older product.

Nancy

Will Do, Nancy. If I'm not mistaken, I did submit a review shortly after we returned, and they never posted it. I'll try it again. Hoilday is in very good condition for her age, and her size. One of the nice perks about her is that if your on a budget, you can get a Cat. 1A Upper/lower with a porthole very cheap. The two of us paid a total of $710 in Feb for 5 nights!!!
