When will Carnival make a decision on the Imagination cruise due to leave on November 3?
It's suppose to go to Key West & Cozumel, that's not going to be possible is it?
I called Carnival again yesterday (10/25) and asked them what the status is regarding Cozumel. They said that when they know someone from Carnival will personally call those who were suppose to port at Cozumel and let them know the alternate port.
Right now all the cruise lines are scrambling to make arrangments for alternate itineraries for their ships. At present, they are handling the situation on a week to week basis as best they can. They are presently finalizing plans for the upcoming week cruises (departing 10/29, 10/30 and 10/31). You will be next on the agenda - just keep posted and continue to monitor their web site. Once authorities on the ground have given them a more definitve assessment of the situation, they will be looking at implementing more long range itin changes.
