To me the biggest rip is the guy at the luggage check in that puts your bags into a container and DEMANDS a dollar or more per bag.

Yea, but it's worth a dollar to get your bag on the same plane you are on and avoid going inside the terminal to check-in.

Yes, and after driving 9 hours is the Happiest $5 to give that person knowing my luggage will be in my Cabin! The Person takes my luggage out of the car, and even re-checks my tags and asks if are current. I go park the car and check in, next thing I know I am on VACATION! It actually is not a TIP, you are hiring for services. Carnival does not include anyone to carry your luggage on the ship. Not to flame anyone, is just my opinion. If you got transfers and on a bus from airport..then I could see why you would complain as is a paid service. But in my case I hire the person. I had to park on 3rd level parking garage last year at Port Canaveral and the Guy walked up all that with heavy bags. I asked how much. He said $5, I gave him $10. Maybe is why I bring all my own stuff I can, because I know the extra things I need to pay for. I should change my name to Rambler

Last post was way off topic. I drink decaff Tea and bring my own. The first time you order hot water from room service for your Tea they will leave the Thermal Caraffe. Ask the Steward to leave it in the cabin in case you want to get your own. They will usually oblige this request, unless they miss-understand. In either case Hot water is always available in the casual restaurant.
