Wow-this was great. The tour takes you by water taxi to the dive shop where you get your equipment and use the toilet before you go.They take you out to a catamaran where you are giving you lessons about the equipment and the science of diving. Once you have passed the required safety tests-like taking the mouthpiece out of your mouth while you continue to let bubbles out and clearing your mask you are taken down for an underwater safari. My wife who doesn't even swim ended up 30 ft down having a wonderful time looking at propellers, ships that had sunk, lots of fish, small morey ell, octopus, shrimp and a variety of other things. It was the experience of a lifetime for her. Imagine a Scottish girl be taken down under the water by an English master diver/instructor. Dave the instructor made her feel right at home and walked her through the experience one step at a time. Now my wife whats to go on the get full scuba diver certification. Who would have thought that it would have come this from a simple excursion.

Great post..You sound like you had a great time on your cruise. At least you didnt let the embarkation process ruin the whole cruise for you.
