Cancel policies??

Well here is the deal,
my wife is going to have a baby!!!


wohoooooo!!!!

I am happy about it but problem is I have to cancel my next cruise after booking it directly on carnival site...



here are a few questions I have about it:

1. If I don't want to cancel it just to change the date, let me explain this I will like to change it to the same date just 2010 insted of 2009 Can I do that?? even if it does not appear online or do I have to wait until then??

2. If I decide to cancel how much will they charge me??

3.If I buy so far in advance will a get a better price??

As you see I am just looking for options I don't want to cancel my cruising adiction..

Congratulations Casanova!

You are still far enough out time-wise to cancel and get all your money back. You could do that on-line and then simply book the new cruise on-line. Option 2 is to call Carnival and tell them what you want to do. I'm sure they will be happy to help you rebook.

This is exciting news!

There is no problem with canceling your cruise and re-booking. As Dave noted, and the link stated, you are eligible for a full refund.

Which ever you decide to do, make sure to read their infant policies before re-booking.

Rumor has it that RCI will be changing the requirement to reach Diamond level to start with the 25th cruise. This supposedly is to go into effect January 1st. Your daughter will have a lot of cruising to do by her 10th birthday. I hope you have lots of money.

My wife and I decided to change the date,
Carnival told us to wait a little until the new booking options appear online in order to change the date
ok I'll have to wait another year to my cruise but it's going to be because of my first baby
so is worth the price

As for getting diamond status before 10 well if I have to wait 25 cruises, is going to be very difficult maybe princess or carnival who knows...

I am plannig to take the baby on his or her first cruise after a few years

YES I'LL DO EVERYTHING ON MY POWER TO MAKE HIM A CRUISE FAN LIKE HIS DAD!!!

But I know the caribbean and it's no place for a little baby mosquitos, sea sickness etc.
Maybe after 2 years I will feel safe enought to take him or her with me until then
