Cortney -The cruise director is Brent Mitchell and he is pretty good. You are going to have an awesome time. I'm already looking at booking another cruise in October for me and hubby. Of course, he thinks I'm nuts.
Tom - As far as what was done in dry dock, I think it was pretty much a paint and carpet thing, they put in all new bedding and added a mini golf.
teachabcdee - You will land in San Juan at 3 p.m. and are there until midnight - so I am sure about beaching there - but do a tour, it is an interesting city. Book it on your own. It is cheaper and safe. Old San Juan is cool too. You will defintely want to "beach" in St. Thomas. There are several gorgeous beaches there. Magen's Bay, Coki Beach, Sapphire Beach are a few. Again, you can just cab it there. Lots of cabs, pretty safe and you are in port from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. In Tortola, there is Long Beach and Cane Garden Bay, both are beautiful. There may be some more, but I am not sure. As far as just taking a private cab, not too sure about that, because this was my first time in Tortola. We booked a ship tour. Also, you are in port a bit shorter time, 9:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.

P.S. Talk about nuts - I've already pulled a bunch of possibilities for a cruise for next February or March! We're considering a 12-day out of New Jersey (I hate flying) on Royal Caribbean.

We actually did have rough seas on the way back, the night of the Midnight Gala Buffet. I think there was a tropical storm off the coast of Georgia. It was very rocky, although none of us in our group got sick,and we did not take any meds for it either. We were just walking around like a bunch of drunk people -- and no, we were not. Speaking of booking another cruise, I am already checking two out for October. A 5-day eastern caribbean on the Imagination and a 6-day western caribbean on the Liberty. I know - two totally different ships. My husband thinks I have lost my mind. I told him I have, that is one of the main symptoms of PCD - Post Cruise Disorder. The only cure for it is to book another cruise.

Did they say if they will be back next year?
Do you have any info. on them?
I just saw them again in April. I first saw them two years ago on the Triumph and if possible they got better. I just love them. They're so nice too. I plan on seeing them sometime again next year.
