You guys are right. The Leornardini Spumante that carnival currently offers pales in comparison to the Martini & Rossi variety. It is more expensive but I have started ordering the Veuve Clicquot for special occasions or the Domaine Chandon for any other purpose. For what it's worth, RCCL still has the Martini and Rossi listed on their white wine list.

Also remember my friends, wine and champagne selections can be limited to what is available on the ship thst week. Selections change all the time. But always mention it to your bartender, I used to love Z-D Chardonnay, they had on RCCL, and I told my bartender how disappointed it was no longer available. MIRACLES !! There were two bottles still in the cooler, I bought them both, and enjoyed my Champagne Bar even more that time. Always ask on board, you never know !!

Vueve Clicquot(sp) is my favorite, not as sweet as Asti, a bit more expensive, but often half bottle are available. If you are lucky maybe the rose is available and that is more sweet. Try a glass before ordering the bottle jsut to be sure.....
