Carnival Legend

Hey guys, i am seruisly thinking of booking the 8 day carrebian dec cruise on thhe Carnival Legend. But first i wanted to hear about the ship a bit more and for those who been on a spirit class ship and RCI vision class ship tell me how much diffrent they are, please.

I've been on the Legend and the Pride. I like this class of ship very much. I think they have a much cleaner layout than the Destiny and Conquest classes. I've been on the Grandeur too. It isn't easy to compare them since it is my personal tastes we are dealing with and not yours, but I think the Spirit class is a little nicer with the exception of the main dining rooms. The Vision class have more elegant dining rooms that don't seem to be as noisy and cramped as those on the Spirit class. I also like that the dining room on the Grandeur was more mid-ship. We had lots of motion on the Legend cruise, and with the dining room being all the way aft it was not very enjoyable dining on a couple nights.

Which itinerary are you looking at? We did the Central American run with stops at Belize, Panama, and Costa Rica.

I was on the Legend last Oct., and I have to say this ship was fantastic. Very clean, good food and service, and well laid out. Easy to get around. One definite is the Supper Club. You cannot miss this. The other thing that is nice are the islands she visits. Not too much in the way of criuse traffic. When we stopped in St Maarten, we were the only ship there. Have a great time.

Great ship and a great cruise. We also sailed last OCT but our cruise was cut short by 2 days because of a visit by Wilma. She was a very rude guest; but she made things rather lively for the few hours she hung around.

Yes, I agree on the Spirit class ships. The layout is very different from the Conquest class and does take some getting used to if you have been on those, but once you get use to it, it makes more sense. You should have a great time!
