Roll call PRIDE Oct 1 2006

Anyone out there joining us on the Mexican Riviera cruise on the PRIDE on Oct 1st? Really looking forward to this cruise. First time NOT cruising from Florida or San Juan!

I am on the pride in November so please let us know how it went. I am sooo excited and just can't wait it will be our first cruise. Have you decided what you are going to do in port yet?

The Pride is a beautiful ship. This is our 8th or 9th cruise (haven't taken time to add them up for sure..our first was in '99 for our 25th anniversary, where I almost had to force my husband to try this kind of vacation...and we have cruised every year since, some years twice!) This is our second trip on Carnival's Pride. Last time it was out of Florida.
Shore excursions we like are the sail and snorkel catmaran or party boats. A nice way to while away a few hours.

Any others joining us on this date? No takers last time this was posted but with cruise less than 50 days away, hoping some others will join in here!

My husband & I are on this cruise. Only 17 more days!!!! We are from So. Cal.

We just sailed her in March and it was wonderful. I do love these Spirit class ships!!

Looks like Wee Jimmy will be your Cruise Director. And sounds like JeROME is still doing his comedy routine. He is a hoot.

We had the most fun at the Pride Idol Midnight show. I was one of the contestants and one of the judges was giving everyone a very low score (he was playing the Simon part) until JeRome reminded him that my husband was the one with the gun permit (they had seen it in his wallet from an earlier skit he did with Kyle Wayne ~ ventrilloquist). Suddenly my score on his card went from a 4 to a 10. It was hilarious. If they do still Pride Idol at midnight...don't miss it.

Welcome to the roll call Chele! Must be nice being from So.Cal and relatively close to cruise port...we are flying in from Michigan on Sunday morning... Didn't check message boards at all the last 2 weeks (just got back from 10 days in Aruba) so it was nice to see someone join in here! I have to scramble to unpack and repack with my vacations so close together, but I am NOT complaining....8 days away now! WOO HOO! LHP, Thanks for the show recommendations. Will check out Jerome if is doing comedy routines...So is "wee Jimmy" a pretty decent CD?
