I've never seen that done, and I don't recommend it. I doubt they even allow it since that is more a provision than a piece of luggage. Have you seen how luggage is transferred to a ship? It is tossed into transfer bins that are the size of a pick-up truck bed and three times as tall. As these bins get filled with suitcases, they are then moved aboard the ship by forklift. Not good odds for the survival of a case of water.

There are sooooo many discussions on bottled water on this board PLEASE reconsider dragging a CASE of water with you onboard. Go to "FIND", key in water, press go and prepare to spend some time reading about the pros and cons of water consumption on board ship. Hopefully you'll be dissuaded from burdening yourself unnecessarily.
I can't even imagine lugging cases of bottled water or Coke or anything else to the pier. Guess it's beyond me because my wife is one of those who overpacks already for every trip we take, sea or otherwise. I already have enough to tote and keep track of. Instead of lugging cases of anything to drink she simply brings one of those big thermal cups with a lid. She goes to the buffet and fills it with either water, lemonade, fruit punch or whatever she's in the mood for and sips it for the day. If she runs out and wants a refill, it's free, just head back to the buffet and fill up again. I'm glad she doesn't hang out on here or I'd be lugging cases of something in addition to all the luggage. But to each his/her own.
By the way, I don't bring a cup, I order what I want. I'm on vacation. I'm not going to bother with keeping up with the cup or washing it out or carrying a case of water. I like having the guys with trays by the pool and the waiters/waitresses at the casino and elsewhere wait on me on vacation. It's just worth the cost for me a couple of times a year to not worry about the cost and just enjoy being served whatever/wherever I want. That's just me.
I'm with Neil. I'm on vacation and if I want something I have a waiter get it for me. I'm not about to show up at the pier carrying all sorts of provisions like an immigrant heading for Ellis Island circa 1900.
