Hi, I'm going on the Miracle on Dec 11, and I was wondering if anyone that has been on the Miracle could give me any tips on the boat or the shore excursions for Belize, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and Costa Maya. I'm cheap so I want to get the most for my money hehe who doesn't ...Thanks Shannon

Hi Shannon, We are also sailing on the Miracle on 12/11. I'm not sure what you consider cheap but we don't like to spend alot either. We booked a horseback ride for Costa Maya but they cancelled that. I guess the hurricane wrecked some havac there. We found a stingray city combo with cayman short and sweet for $56.00 per person on Shoretrips.com. Also a Mayan Ruins tour to Tulum for $79.00 per person through the cruise lines. The best prices though were on the shoretrips web site. I hope that helps. I guess we will see how they are when we get there. Have fun.

Hi shannon, we are booked miracle in jan. I booked with Capt marvin for sting ray city snorkle swim with rays at caymen for 39.00 ea. its about 1/2 day tour without lunch, and from what I have read on the boards the tour is alot more personel then the cruise tours, its in smaller groups, and its like a cattle drive on the cruise line tours when you book on board http://www.captainmarvins.com/
we booked right on line small deposit and you pay when you get there, also in Cozumel we may go to playa mia or paradise beach, I prefer playa mia one price for the beach gets you all drinks, buffet lunch, and use of non motorized toys, snorkling equip for the day for a price under 40.00. paradise charges only 7 or 8 dollars but you have to pay for lunch and drinks I find the playa a better deal beacuse we do drink the beer and Margaritas on the beach http://www.playamia.com/

we are considering the zipline adventure 80.00 each looks like fun what ever you plan have fun the ships tend to charge a bit more for the cruis tours so I would compare you can check out the excursion prices on Carnivals site to compare, and also they book out completely and may not get anything once you board whatever you decide have fun!!!

Hi guys...we returned from The Miracle on 11/20. We found due to the hurricane that the shore excursions on board were very high, so we waited till we got off & PLENTY of excursions were offered for cheap $$$. Cozumel was still a mess, Grand Cayman was choopy but the Stingrays are a must, Belize is iffy. Any excursion is a 45 min drive away...and we didn't make it to Costa Maya due to a tropical depression....otherwise, loved the ship, but the Islands were a disapointment. Good Luck!
