I know what you mean. I've skipped a few over the years. I usually make the Captain's Welcome dinner though. I like the prime rib and lobster. Some folks don't wear suits anymore as the Cruise Elegant dress code has been relaxed. I still at the minimum wear a dress shirt-slacks, tie, and a blazer. My avatar is actually me on a Carnival ship on Cruise Elegant night.
