carnival expedited check in lines

does anyone know how you get in to that expedited check in line at the pier? i think it is called the admiral or captain's club? how many past cruise do you need to have done to get in this and is it any quicker?

You need to be a platinum member which you become after 10 cruises with Carnival. We have found it to be a lot quicker!

we had that on our cruise in oct because we had a cat 11 balcony suite, the process was very fast and we were on the ship in a few min.

This will be our 10th cruise with Carnival(Dec.2nd). Can we get the platinum card this time or does it have to be after the 10th?

A strict interpretation of the language in the Carnival Press Release would indicate you have to have 10 completed cruises. But then again I wouldn't be surprised if you got platinum status this time. Have your agent find out for you. Or if you want to have some fun call Carnival yourself. Call several times, since it is highly probable that you will get more than one answer. After several calls you should have one answer that has taken the lead in the poll.

We received the Platinum benefits ON our 10th cruise. It definitely was faster checking in!!

thats funny dave i myself have called carnival and yes you should do your own polling because you do get different answers lol
