Anyone going on this cruise? Has anyone evern been on Victory? I've been on three of Carnival's "Fantasy class" ships, this will be my first on a different style ship. If anyone has suggestions on which excursions are the best, etc., please feel free to post them! (Costa Maya, Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios)
I've been on the Victory. In Grand Cayman, I took the tour that visited the turtle farm. I did not do a tour in Ocho Rios because I was with friends who were local to the area. Joseph Anthony is the matrie'd. He's wonderful. You should have a great dining experience.
The Victory has hairdryers so you won't need to bring one.
I went on that same cruise in April, be sure to go to Hell in Grand Cayman (no insult intended it is an actual name of a town) - it is black dead coral reef that died when the sea level droped.
The Destiny/Conquest Class Ships are much larger than the Fantasy Class, the first time I boarded the Glory my jaw dropped! They have a pool with a retractable roof at the back of the ship - 3 pools in total where the Fantasy Class has only one!
Thank you for the info!! And yes, my 15 year old is already planning to tell people he's been "to Hell and back".
