I'm taking 2 boys with me, 1 is 15 years old , the other 14. I understand these are ages are grouped differenty. Would carnival allow both these kids in the same 15 year 17 old kid's club or must they be separated?

What ship you sailing on? Some of the newer ships have kids and teens clubs (dancing/juice bar) at 14 and 15 they should be in the same age group. I would not be worried about them getting seperated. Many of the teens that age may just end up meeting by themselves anyway...

Carnival is pretty strict about their age policy.. the 12-14 year olds are in one group and then the 15-17 year olds are in another. My daughter is 15 and she gets to participate in the Club 02 program on Carnival, but before she turned 15 she was not allowed to participate, they actually asked for ID's, in fact the conselors have the birthdates of every child participating since you have to give this information when you book. They usually have the names of each child and what age group they fall into.

My son (11 at the time) didn't want to be without his brother (14 at the time) and the "camp counselor" called him out on being in the wrong group. It stinks that all 4 of mine will be in separate groups this cruise too!!
