December is a great month for cruising, we've done 4 either for Christmas or the week before. We're thinking about a 14 day next year for Christmas and New Years, just debating about the price. I could book two 10 days for less than the price of one 14 day, but I've never been on a New Year's cruise, so will probably go for it. The only thing I don't like is the days are shorter, but that is the only negative. The water is still warm enough to go snorkeling and the weather is perfect. Cozumel was great when we went 3 years ago on the Dawn Princess. Best wishes and have a wonderful cruise!

I agree December is a great month to sail. Cozumel will not be to hot or to cold, just right.I would say probably in the low 80's in the daytime and probably about low 60's at night. Tom

I am going on the Ecstasy Dec. 15. When are you going? I got on the cozumel web site and they said in Dec. it's around 70-80 degrees. So I'm excited too. We have alot of family going.

Hey, getfuzzy! I work for CCL and have been to Cozumel in Dec. a number of times and from first hand experience, this port ROCKS! A few places to go are- La Choza (CHO-zah) restaurant, the mini golf place (bring your camera to take a picture of the big iguanas that might steal your ball), Paradise Beach (nice family beach), and if you plan on golfing, Cozumel has a great golf course about 20 mins. to get to. If not, there is PLENTY of shopping and sightseeing. Make sure you check out the excursion list for Cozumel. There's a lot to do there.

getfuzzy-Cozumel is great in December. We were last there in Dec 2005 (right after the Hurricanes)-It is more comfortable temp wise but still humid-need that sunscreen! We love Dec./Jan. cruising!

Bon Voyage,

I also cruised to Cozumel/Cancun this past January. The weather was perfect 70s and 80's. You'll have a fun time.
