dr....while I certainly appreciate the apology, it really isn't necessary. We all sometimes get carried away and post something we wish we hadn't. If an apology thread was started for every post I had to edit, we'd be overrun with apologies.

So, thanks again, and I don't sweat it.

High 80's inland; 90 in the valleys;

Costa Mesa, a perfect 72, sunny, light offshore breeze.
Damn, I love it here!

f-mattox, I can't say I blame you. My husband and I now wish we settled out there after college. At the time, he felt it better to stick closer to home since his parents were elderly.
Ahh... to do it all over again, things would be different. I certainly envy you.

Envy? Maybe--until the ground starts to shake.

It dosen't matter where you live; there is always going to be the possibility of some sort of natural disaster. The Lord has many ways of reminding us who is really in charge.

As for staying close to elderly parents--no question--it's the right thing to do.

Well, in good ol' Birmingham, we will hit 94 today, 96 predicted for tomorrow and pretty much the same until next Thursday when we actually have a small chance of rain. We are only 24 inches below normal for the year. Making it illegal to water your lawns or wash your vehicles.
