Hi I booked a GTY room and saw my room assignment on the website. My questions are will my room assignment change before my late Aug cruise? And also I will be above a lounge, will I hear much noice. Thanks

It is possible that your assignment will change, but probably won't. You shouldn't be bothered by the noise, most of the time you won't hear a thing except for the occasional passenger that's had one too many. Best wishes and have a wonderful cruise.

Many have posted on here and I would have to agree. I sleep really well on the ships. Could be the motion of the ocean, or I am just slap out worn out. I never hear anything.

My husband and I booked a GTY cabin on the Conquest. We never did find out which cabin we would have until we got aboard. It was at the very front of the ship above the ship's bridge. All was well until the last day. A storm and we really rocked and rolled our way back to Galveston.

The ships are usually berthed at the least 7-14 days before sailing. I have recently heard on here of assignments as far as 2-3 months out of the date.

Next time just ask. Unless you are doing Stand-By the cabin will be assigned before you board.
