Evolutions of Fun Drydock Schedule

The drydock completion dates are often asked, and with good reason. Here is what I have knowledge of so far.

Elation 2/26/09 to 3/11/09

Fantasy 9/6/08 to 10/3/08

Paradise 12/1/08 to 12/14/08

Sensation 1/8/09 to 2/11/09

I don't have the dates for the Ecstasy or the Fascination. Does anyone know them?

Is there a site that lists what has been done to ships in drydock? I remember seeing one but I can't find the site again..

I try to get my info directly from Carnival. This site has been useful as well. Click on the Fact Sheet for each ship. It is usually pretty accurate.

I am curious about the Paradise only showing a 2 week drydock.

It is my understanding that the full Evolutions of Fun takes a month.

They have been adding and re-furbishing ships prior to adding the Water Works, and the new lido pool enhancements. It may not take as long for some ships to complete is my guess.

That makes sense.

When we were on the Ecstasy earlier this month, we heard it was scheduled for Sept 2009.

It is a shame they can't move that up since there is no port in Galveston to sail from.

I am guess they will take the Conquest and Ecstasy to the new Houston Baytown Cruise Terminal as soon as "infrastructure" allows.

And that guess was right as usual.

Haven't heard yet if that is anything permanent or just an emergency measure.

I wish they would push up the Fascination completion. There is a lot of local interest with it going to Jacksonville. I'm stumped as to why they didn't do this before repositioning.

I hope Carnival doesn't "cheap out" and have Mobile do it...the East Coast shipyard did a much better job.

LHP, I forgot to say that what you heard was true about the date. I actually don't know how long they've had it posted, I found it by accident. We'll keep our fingers crossed for the east coast.
