can you bring shampoo, gels and stuff , toothpaste?, im tryingto pack. thanks

You can bring any of those items on the plane in carry on if they are three ounces or less containers. You must place them in a 1 quart clear zip lock bag and they go through security separately. If you choose, you may buy those items once you are through security and you can buy larger bottles. Ofcourse you know the airport stores will charge an arm and a leg for those items.

None of the liquid restrictions that apply to flying are a problem to bring on a cruise.

The only liquid you can't bring on a ship in your carry one is alcohol (other than a bottle of wine).

Any restriction on the size of the wine bottle? Suppose I want to bring on board a magnum of champagne. Is that OK?

You might want to check with your Airline about the restrictions.

Carnival's rules are pretty clear, just visit their website. I don't know what a Magnum is, My Sis and I take a few bottles each without a problem.
