Is there seafood on the buffet, I love seafood!

Please provide a specific ship. There are some differences as to what is offered in the buffet areas on Carnival ships.

Generally, if you are expecting to see trays full of shrimp, scallops, crab, etc., you will be disappointed.

But there are the "fish n chips" service on some of carnivals bigger ships.. they offer fish n chips, fried clams, calamari etc its not exactly buffet style but you can go up as often as you like.

What Jim mentions is what I was thinking about. That is why it is important to mention the ship you will be on when asking a question.

The ships are the Fascination and the Inspiration.

Just got off the Spirit and the only seafood was shrimp cocktail, fish and one night for lobster....(which all were very good) No seafood at the buffet.....Happy Cruising......

They do have baked and fried fish if I recall. I don't remember what kind it was. They may have a few other items on the buffet on the ships that were mentioned, but it has been awhile since I've been on either one. It certainly isn't much if they do.

The best thing is to go to the main dining room for dinner if you want seafood. They will post the menu for the night outside of the dining room every day.

Here is a link to some sample menus for the main dining room.

"P" I assure you that you will see food at the buffet but it is not likely you will see much seafood there-it will be found elsewhere!
Of course, technically speaking, any meal eaten aboard a vessel at sea is "sea food"!
