Information on Carnival Celebration

Hello All!

My husband and I are embarking on the Carnival Celebration on Monday (11/14/05) for a 5-day cruise to the Bahamas. This is our 2nd cruise. Our first cruise was on the Carnival Holiday in November 2004, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We were booked for a 2nd cruise on the Holiday for the beginning of this month, but the cruise was cancelled due to the Holiday being used as one of the temporary shelters for Hurricane Katrina victims.

Anyway, any thoughts on the Celebration? What can we expect?

It has been a couple of years since we sailed Celebration. We went from Galveston to Cozumel on her. Not bad, excellent service and the Cruise director and helpers were great. Haven't been on the Holiday so can't compare them. Our last cruise was on Sensation, and Celebration was smaller than that one.

If you enjoyed the Holiday than you will certainly enjoy the Celebration. They are sister ships so the size, amenities and configuration are almost identical. I sailed on the Celebration shortly after her refurbishment and had a great time. Good service, good food and great entertainment.
