We have booked an interior porthold cabin on the Elation for Christmas. Can someone explain to me why this cabin is considered an interior if it has a porthole?
Welcome to Cruise Chat. Carnival re-categorized their cabins about a year ago. They just categorized the less desirable port holes in with the inside cabin pricing. They are less desirable because of their location all the way forward.
Thanks Cruise Fanatic. Hey, it doesn't matter to me where my cabin is. This will be my 10th cruise. I've stayed in an interior and a suite, and everything in-between. Every cruise I've taken has been wonderful!
We relly like these cabins.. They are as big as an oceanview and come with a couch.. You do have 2 portholes to look out of and it is a great value.. So if you can book one for the cheap. book it.. I rather have these than a inside cabin..
I HAD AFORWARD ROOM PORTHOLE ,ABOARD CARNIVAL VALOR.I LIKE IT BETTER THAN A INSIDE ROOM.AT LEAST YOU CAN SEE THE WATER ,OR WHEN YOU PULL UP TO PORT.I WAS NEVER IN THE ROOM ANYWAY.
