Cabin Categories?

I booked a guarenteed balcony on the Victory and just saw that they assigned me a cabin today. I was given #1006 on Panorama Deck 10. It is the lase cabin on that side before what I believe is the suites. Can anyone tell me if this is a good cabin? Not that I can change it, but just curious as I am a worrier about everything (even vacation).

Looks like the Gym is above you. Possible you might here some noise from the Gym. Those aren't suites on the end, they are outside cabins.

Thanks, I am not too worried about the gym. The ship stops at a port every day, so I will be off the boat early and be gone all day. I don't anticipate too many people in the gym after dinner time. It has to be better than the last Carnival cruise when I had a room directly under the casual dinning. It sounded like elephants running starting at around 5 a.m. every morning and did not stop! I am just concerned about it being so far in the corner of the boat. I am assuming that the balcony will be a normal balcony and not shorter or obstructed in any way.

we were on this ship Nov.2009. I think your cabin is fine, wish we had been on that floor. We were upgraded (so it sounded at the time) to the spa deck above you and on the other side. The miniture golf was above us which we heard ping- and pong all the time, people could look down on our balcony at any given time even when there wasn't golf going on as we had no levels above us, so when it rained we got wet if we were out there. You actually should be in a very good area, with just rooms above you.
